COMJ 422 Final Exam Study Guide

Upon reflection, I have decided to allow you to make your own study guide for the final test in Multimedia Journalism. The exam covers chapters 4, 7, 9-11 & 13 - read the text and check your notes on this area of study. This study guide can be used during your exam. The study guide must be your own and follow the rules below. To make your study guide, follow the guidelines below:

1. Use an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of paper.

2. Using a pen and your own handwriting, write down on one side only anything you think is important to remember for the test.

3. You may write as small as you like, but it must be your own handwriting - no typing, no copies.

4. You may not copy your study guide for anyone else. You should work on this alone.

5. Put your name on your study guide in the upper right corner.

6. Bring this study guide to class on the day of the test.

7. You may use your study guide during the final exam. Yes, that's right - during the test.

8. Turn your study guide in with your test.  You will receive 3 extra credit points for doing the study guide toward your test grade.

9. Remember, only one side of the paper may be used, only in your handwriting, and must be your own work. Any violation of this will make the study guide ineligible for use during the test.

10. Don't forget to study your study guide - it would be a sad moment to have the answer available, but not be able to understand what it means.

11.  The format for the test is similar to the midterm, though there is more about web-style writing.

Any questions on this - let me know before the test - once the exam time has come, it's too late. Have fun!
